1. If you need to remember Pi, just count the letters in each word in the sentence: "May I have a large container of coffee?" If you get the coffee and say "Thank you," you get two more decimal places. [3.141592653...] 
 
2. 40 is only number that has each of its letters written in alphabetical order. Check it for yourself....F-O-R-T-Y. And the number 1 also shares a similar quality. It's the only number that has its letters in reverse alphabetical order...O-N-E.
 
3. Most people know that a closed figure with eight straight sides is call an octagon. And some might even know a 10-sided figure is called a decagon. But many do not know that a 20-sided figure is called an icosagon. 
 
4.  Most people from middle school and higher know that a 1 with 6 zeros (1,000,000) is called a million.But did you know that the number 1 with 30 zeros is called a nonillion.
